On 21 March, Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms, Elisa Ferreira, presented the new set of reforms that the Commission will be supporting in all 27 Member States through the Technical Support Instrument.

The new round of projects will contribute to improve public services, to create sustainable growth, to make our economies more competitive and to ensure local and regional development.

The support is provided through high-level expertise in a broad range of sectors, including the green and digital transitions, public administration and governance, migration management, support to refugees and asylum seekers, support to vulnerable children at risk of social exclusion, tax policies, support to businesses, financial sector, labour market, education systems, social services, health care, cybersecurity.

Initiated in 2021, the TSI is the successor of the Structural Reform Support Programme (SRSP). Since 2017, both programmes have helped design, develop and implement over 1500 reform projects in 27 Member States.
