The European Commission has lent support to the Italian government for the reform of harmful subsidies, environmental taxation and broader fiscal reform.

The Commission provides technical support to Estonia, Greece, Spain, Italy and Slovenia to strengthen the capacity of public employment services and reform the delivery of active labour market policies.

This Commission helped to support Italy in the design and implementation of reforms that will increase the adequacy of disability assessment and social protection in Italy, allowing for greater social and economic inclusion of people with disabilities.

The Commission provided support in finding best practices and providing recommendations to integrate green infrastructures and nature-based solutions in the work of the Ministry.
