European public administration thematic studies

The Thematic studies present a comparative thematic overview of recent developments in the public administrations in the Member States (EU-27). They are based on analytical work carried out under the “European Public Administration Country Knowledge” (EUPACK) project and focus on important thematic analyses of issues that affect public administrations across the EU.

The EUPACK is a multi-annual initiative of the Commission aimed at developing its country and thematic knowledge on the EU Member State public administrations’ functioning and reforms. Such knowledge enables more pertinent country analysis, helps identify reform priorities, and facilitates the effective delivery of technical and other EU support for improving state capacity in Member States.
