In a constantly changing world, reforms are needed to keep our economies competitive and to improve the quality of public services. However, reforms are complex. It requires specialized expertise to make sure that the reforms are well-designed and optimally implemented. By bringing together expertise from different backgrounds, including international organizations and the private sector, the European Commission helps Member States to carry out reforms that create jobs, inclusive societies and sustainable growth. Our projects are funded by the Technical Support Instrument and managed by the Commission's Reform and Investment Task Force (SG REFORM).
Recovery and Resilience Plans
The European Commission, via the Technical Support Instrument (TSI), has been helping Member States to design reforms necessary for the preparation and implementation of their national RRPs. So far, more than 500 projects approved under the TSI are linked to the preparation or implementation of Member States’ RRPs. TSI assistance has taken the form of general support, horizontally applicable for a smooth implementation of the plans, and thematic support, targeting specific reforms and investments in the RRPs.
